Allen Jaborie Ticordiyae Little appeared for his final dispositional conference on Thursday afternoon, where it was determined that he maintains his prior not guilty pleas, scheduling him for a jury trial on Jan. 6 and 7.
Little is charged with aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon and reckless endangerment showing extreme indifference. The crimes have maximum five-year prison sentences. According to police, Little was playing basketball on May 25 at the Abbott Sports Complex when he and another man got into an argument that led to a physical altercation.
The man was transported to the emergency room for a gunshot wound. Video footage taken during the incident appears to show Little lunging at the other man while holding a gun, striking him with the weapon.
