Jamestown will have no garbage or recycling collection on Thanksgiving Day, which is Thursday Nov. 28. Instead, residents that are in routes on Wednesday and Thursday will have their materials collected on Wednesday, Nov. 27.
In addition, the Baling Facility and Recycling Center will be closed from Thursday, Nov. 28 through Saturday, Nov. 30. Regular operations will resume on Monday, Dec. 2.
