A man was arrested in near Medina this weekend after allegedly assaulting police officers.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol is accusing 37-year-old Angelo White of driving under the influence, then assaulting the officers who had pulled him over for a traffic stop. The incident allegedly happened Saturday afternoon when troopers noticed a vehicle driving recklessly on I-94 a few miles east of Medina.
White, who lives in New Town, was arrested and charged with assault, contact by bodily fluid, resisting arrest, and driving with a suspended license. He is currently being held in the Stutsman County Correction Center.
One of the officers sustained minor injuries during the scuffle.
