18-year-old Cazmere Haskins will appear in court in December, where he is expected to plead guilty for stabbing a man to death earlier this year.
Haskins was a 17-year-old senior at Central High School when he was arrested. Haskins agreed to plea deal knowing prosecutors plan to ask a judge to sentence him to 40 years in prison. The murder happened at the Sterling Pointe Apartments. Haskins is accused of stabbing 24-year-old Anfernee Economy in the heart and killing him during a fight that turned deadly.
Police said Haskins sent a picture of a bloody knife to a group chat and that they found the knife in his bedroom.
