North Dakotans will be saving money on gas over Thanksgiving. In Jamestown, gas prices were at $2.89 per gallon at four locations as of Monday. The current national average for regular gasoline is $3.05 per gallon, and the national average was $3.26 per gallon on Thanksgiving last year.
Trends are heading downward; 2024 has been a banner year for travel and Skyler McKinley, regional director of public affairs for AAA, says that it is indicative of the U.S. being recovered from the coronavirus pandemic. Travel records being consistently broken shows that something has shifted in the travel economy.
