Well it wasn’t a long wait for former NDSU Bison Head Coach Matt Entz to find a new head coaching job.
The former leader of the Bison who left the program to be an assistant coach for the USC Trojans under Lincoln Riley last year, will be taking a job at Fresno State to become the new leader of the Bulldogs, the college that has produced NFL talents such as Quarterback Derek Carr, Wide Receiver Davante Adams, and backup Quarterback Jake Haener.
The contract per sources is said to be for 5 years, as Entz will try to bring a breath of fresh air to a Fresno State team that finished 6-6 last year in the Mountain West.
Entz had a successful tenure during his time in North Dakota, winning two FCS National Championships, and holding an overall record of 60-10 in his 5 years of service to the team.
