Stutsman County Commission approves study to move water to Multi-Jurisdictional Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan

Stutsman County Commission approved adding a feasibility study to move water from western Stutsman County and Crystal Springs Lake to the Multi-Jurisdictional Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan.

According to Commissioner Jerry Bergquist, the county could be eligible for up to 75% in federal funds and 10% in state funds once the county knows what the project is and its cost.

President of Nexus Consulting Daniel Schwartz is working on the language to put into the Stutsman County Multi-Jurisdictional Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan.
