PAYTON GALL — Steven Burrell, a 30-year-old Fargo man, was arrested in Dubuque, Iowa, in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred in south Fargo on Wednesday. The victim, 32-year-old Rahssan Wilson, was shot multiple times near an apartment complex at around noon.

Despite immediate medical attention, he succumbed to his injuries. Police believe Wilson and Burrell were acquaintances. A friend of Wilson said she called Wilson 11 minutes prior to the 911 call. Wilson did not answer, but he tried calling back multiple times. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are asking for anyone with information to contact the Red River Regional Dispatch.

A candlelight vigil for Wilson is planned for Monday night at the Summer at Osgood apartment complex.
