Fargo man sentenced to three years in prison, five years of probation for child sexual abuse material

David Springer was sentenced to prison and probation on Monday in Cass County’s District Court in Fargo. He must register as a sex offender.

According to court documents, Springer was identified with a child sexual abuse material file and reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on September 3, 2023.

After an investigation by the North Dakota Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and North Dakota’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation, detectives located more than 500 images and stopped counting or classifying images after finding more than 2000 images.
