The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced a $450,000 settlement with Arrow Pipeline LLC on Thursday for its Clean Air Act violations on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation in North Dakota.

Per an EPA release, visible smoke and smog was seen on the company’s compressor stations during a June 2023 inspection. According to the same release, Arrow Pipeline failed to properly meet permitting requirement for how it manages records.

Arrow Pipelines operates seven stations that house engines, tanks and flares to move natural gas through a pipeline on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation.
