The man in custody after a shooting in a Fargo parking lot in September is now facing additional charges.
24-year-old Tyreik Taylor Roberts was already facing murder charges after prosecutors say he shot and killed 25-year-old Jalab Moses on September 20th during an argument. Roberts says he acted in self-defense.
Cass County Judge John Irby granted prosecutor’s requests to add felony manslaughter and aggravated assault charges on Thursday. Judge Irby also denied a defense request to reduce Robert’s $1 million bond.
Roberts is being held in the Cass County Jail, with his next court appearance set for January 22.
