On the ice, the Minnesota Wild were frozen by the Vegas Golden Knights, losing 3-2 in St. Paul on Sunday. The Wild took their sixth home loss of the season, but star left winger Kirill Kaprizov hit another two goals.
Vegas’ Victor Olofsson netted two goals, with one in the first period on a power play and the other nearly four minutes into the third period, giving the Golden Knights the 3-2 edge they would need for the win.
The Wild will return to the ice when they play the Florida Panthers on Wednesday. Puck drop is scheduled for 8:30 p.m.
