A woman in Sioux Falls died after trying to get across a moving train on Sunday.
Police say the incident occurred around 7:00 p.m. A slow-moving train was at the intersection of E 8th Street near N Weber Ave in Sioux Falls when it hit the woman. According to witnesses at the scene, the woman jumped onto the train, trying to cross it to the other side. The woman then fell from the train and was run over, leaving her dead at the scene.
Police have not released her name. The victim was 29 years old.
