USDA to contribute over one million to four tribal colleges in North Dakota

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) will put over $1 million into four tribal colleges in North Dakota to help aid in campus and facility development.

According to a release from the USDA, the organization invested a total of $8 million in tribal colleges throughout the United States through its Tribal College Initiative Grant in 2024. For this donation, each of the four tribal colleges in ND will get $278,216.

The colleges to receive the funds will be the United Tribes Technical College, Turtle Mountain College, Cankdeska Cikana Community College and Sitting Bull College.
