A winter storm warning remains in effect for North Dakota until 6:00 p.m. central time this evening. The National Weather Service says residents can expect heavy snow and blowing snow to continue with accumulations of three to five inches, with some areas seeing six to eight inches of snow.
Roads, bridges and overpasses are likely slick and hazardous. Whiteout conditions are expected to make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening. The Weather Service recommends keeping an extra flashlight, food and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
The latest road conditions can be found online at KSJBam.com and by calling 511.
