The Minnesota Vikings are preparing for a playoff game in the flaming city of Los Angeles, but rumors are still swirling about injured quarterback J.J. McCarthy.
The former Michigan Wolverine was injured during the Vikings preseason and has not played a regular season game for Minnesota, but some reports have linked McCarthy to trades to several different teams in need of a quarterback. Popular teams in discussion include those like the Las Vegas Raiders, Cleveland Browns, New York Giants and more. The Vikings have not publicly stated that they will trade McCarthy.
McCarthy helped lead Michigan to a national championship in 2023 and finished that season with 22 passing touchdowns and just four interceptions.
The Vikings will kick off in California on Monday night at 7:00 p.m.
