Gas Prices Up in North Dakota, Flat Nationally

Gas Prices in North Dakota made a surprising post-holiday rise over the past week.

The current average is $2.83 per gallon for regular unleaded, up four cents.   Last year, the price was a couple of cents cheaper in the Peace Garden State.  The cheapest gas in North Dakota can be found in Grand Forks, where the average is $2.59 per gallon.

Prices average $2.79 in South Dakota, and $2.99 in Minnesota.  The national average is $3.06, unchanged from last week.
