With North Dakota Senator John Hoeven assistance, Agristo, a potato processor with plants located in Belgium, India, and in process in France as well, has selected Grand Forks, North Dakota as the new site to make frozen potato products.
Agristo said it chose North Dakota as its first US Location due to high quality potato farming in the area, availability of product, and the market for its private label products like fries, wedges, and gratins.
According to Senator Hoeven the deal is contingent on the project and transportation rates with the BNSF railroad.
