The Minnesota Wild were hit with a two-goal loss to the Edmonton Oilers last night, 5-3.
Star Centre Connor McDavid slapped two goals through the net for the Oilers and hurt a Wild team that was still without left winger Kirill Kaprizov. Minnesota had goals from Matt Boldy, Ryan Hartman and Marco Rossi, but could not overcome the Oilers offense.
The Wild are now 27-14 this season and play again on Saturday in Nashville, with puck drop scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
