Minnesota Wild star left winger Kirill Kaprizov will have surgery and is expected to be out a minimum of four weeks because of a lower-body injury. Wild General Manager Bill Guerin said it is not a season ending injury but Kaprizov will be on the shelf for a little while.
Kaprizov has been battling a lower body injury throughout the season and missed 12 games earlier in the season. Despite missing time, Kaprizov leads Minnesota with 23 goals, 29 assists and 52 points in 37 games.
The Wild play tomorrow night in Toronto at 6:00 p.m.
