With a big offensive showing, the May-Port-C-G Patriots defeated the No. 4 New Rockford-Sheyenne Rockets on Saturday, 70-60.
Sophomore forward Noah Djibonon led the Patriots with 21 points. Freshman guard Bricker Johnson added range from three and dropped 16 points.
May-Port-C-G will try to build a win streak as they travel to Hillsboro/Central Valley to play at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday night. New Rockford-Sheyenne will have to wait to bounce back. The Rockets will take on Hatton/Northwood on the road on Thursday night at 7:00 p.m.
