The No. 8 May-Port-C-G Patriots beat the New Rockford-Sheyenne Rockets in a girls basketball matchup on Saturday in Mayville, North Dakota.
Junior guard Kiaza Carlson led the Patriots with 26 points. The 5-foot-6 guard was helped by sophomore Jordyn Carpenter, who scored 22 points.
The Patriots (13-3) will play again when they face Hillsboro/Central Valley on the road on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. New Rockford-Sheyenne (7-9) will return home to play Griggs-Midkota on Monday at 7:00 p.m.
