The Minnesota Twins traded 28-year-old Michael Helman to the Cardinals for cash considerations. The move comes just before pitchers and catchers report for the 2025 MLB season.

The offseason has been rather quiet for both the Twins and the Cardinals. Still, the Twins have been more aggressive as of late, signing right-handed outfielder Harrison Bader to a 1-year deal yesterday. Bader’s signing followed the move to bring back bullpen piece Danny Coulombe.

Bader hit .236 and had 12 home runs and 51 RBI with the Mets last season. Coulombe pitched almost 30 innings with the Baltimore Orioles last season, earning an ERA of 2.12.
