The Minnesota Twins made another free agency move with Spring Training starting this week. First baseman Ty France will join the team on a one-year contract.

France was an All-Star on the 2022 American League roster with the Seattle Mariners. The 30-year-old hit .251 last year with the Cincinnati Reds in 52 games. He would also drive in 20 runs in his time in red and white. France was traded midway through the season after hitting .223 with the Mariners in 88 games.
