The North Dakota State Bison baseball team lost on the road at No. 20 Dallas Baptist yesterday, 11-1.
The Patriots were led by winning pitcher Rian Schwede, who started for DBU and went five innings, allowing just one run and three hits. Schwede struck out eight Bison hitters. NDSU’s Tate martin allowed five runs and five hits in three innings, walking four batters with one strikeout. Dallas Baptist outfielder Landon Underhill notched two hits in five at bats, helping him earn three RBI.
The Bison are now 0-3 this year while DBU is 3-0. North Dakota State will stay on the road in Texas this week and start a series at Lamar at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
