On the links, the North Dakota State Bison golf team finished towards the middle of the standings after one day at the Palm Valley Golf Club in Arizona in the Loyola Intercollegiate tournament. The Bison are in seventh place in a field of 19 teams after Sunday.
Josh Galvin led the way for the Bison on day, shooting a -2 round of 70. Ian Simonich finished with a 71 and carded an eagle early in the round, the only Bison to do so on Sunday.
Round two will go today and the final round will start on Tuesday.
