When one team left the ice, the incident began. Parents began pushing and shoving each other along the boards. The situation escalated when a woman attempted to trip a man who was walking out, after which she was shoved into the glass by another man, leading to more confrontation. The Fargo Youth Hockey Association, which maintains a strict code of conduct for parents, coaches, and players, has issued suspensions in response to the altercation.
