According to reports, the Minnesota Twins have lost Billionaire Justin Ishbia as a potential buyer of the team. Ishbia will instead buy more from shares from other partners to increase his minority stake in the Chicago White Sox.
The Twins are still for sale by the Pohlad family, who put the team up for sale during the offseason. Some officials believe that Ishbia will eventually make the move to acquire majority ownership of the team from longtime owner Jerry Reinsdorf and other partners, but a White Sox official disputed this idea.
