Just as the girls are finishing up in the Jamestown Civic Center with the Region 1 Tournament, the Boys will be jumping in this Friday to begin the District 2 Tournament, for a shot at regionals.
The opening round will begin on Friday (February 28th) and end on Tuesday (March 4th) Featuring 8 teams from District 2.
There was a play in game for the tournaments 8 seed,
Strasburg/Zeeland defeated South Border 45-28 to advance to the quarterfinal round.
The Following Matchups will be featured in the opening round of the District 2 Boys Tournament:
#1 Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier (Rebels) vs. #8 Strasburg/Zeeland (Clippers)
- EKM defeated Strasburg/Zeeland 72-26 in the regular season.
#4 Medina-Pingree/Buchanon (Thunder) vs. #5 Ellendale (Cardinals)
- MPB defeated Ellendale 62-37 in the regular season.
#2 Linton-HMB (Lions) vs. #7 Kidder County (Wolves)
- Linton-HMB defeated Kidder County 73-30 in the regular season.
#3 Lamoure-LM (Loboes) vs. #6 Napoleon-G/S (Imperials)
- Lamoure-LM defeated Napoleon-G/S 55-52 in the regular season.
KSJB’s coverage of the District 2 Boys Tournament will begin on Friday with the first game with pregame starting at about 2:40 with the first matchup #1 EKM vs. #8 Strasburg/Zeeland.
