Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards faces a one-game suspension after his ejection in the Timberwolves 111-102 loss last night to the Los Angeles Lakers.
Edwards has gathered 16 technical fouls this season, giving him the automatic one game suspension.
“He’s gotta be better. He’s had too many outbursts,” Minnesota head coach Chris Finch said after the game. “They’re gonna miss some calls from time-to-time, for sure. But he’s gotta be better and we’ve been talking to him about it, so it’s on him.”
The ‘Wolves will likely be without Edwards when they take on the Utah Jazz at 8:30 p.m. tonight. Edwards could only play if the NBA rescinds one of his technical fouls against the Lakers.
