
There was a blue and yellow parade at the Jamestown Civic Center after the final buzzer sounded to mark a 69-56 win for the Benson County Wildcats over the Kenmare/Bowbells Honkers in the Division B girls state title game on Saturday.
The Wildcats were led by Kaitlyn Maddock, who dropped a game-high 26 points. Aubrey Kenner added 19 points for Benson County. Kenmare/Bowbells was led by Mashae Miller. The senior guard earned 14 points and a spot on the All-Tournament team.
Benson County’s Kenner was named the tournament MVP and made the All-Tournament team with Maddock.
