Fargo North boys basketball head coach Travis Hoeg was placed on administrative leave just one day before the first round of the North Dakota Division AA tournament on Thursday, and the cause for the suspension was not released at the time. Fargo Public Schools put out a release Friday morning, announcing the investigation had been completed. The release stated that an explicit image of Hoeg had been circulating on social media–the post indicated that Hoeg was sending the explicit image to “male and female” students. In examining the account of the original poster of this image, along with a search of Hoeg’s district-issued computer and accounts, there was no evidence to substantiate that Hoeg sent these images or engaged in inappropriate conduct or violated staff conduct codes. He is returning to the sidelines with his team “in hopes of reaching the consolation championship tomorrow (Saturday). Go Spartans!”
