The Oakes Tornadoes will play in the Division B Boys Basketball State Tournament next week after a 47-45 win over Midway-Minto in the state qualifier game on Saturday.
Under the lights of the Scheels Center in Fargo, Oakes’ Ediberto Garza poured in a team high 17 points. Midway-Minto’s Elijah Robinson led the way with 16.
Oakes will play Our Redeemer’s in the state quarterfinals next Thursday at 1:00 p.m. KSJB will cover the game live at the Minot State Dome, with the pregame show starting at 12:40 p.m.
