About 50 people were outside of the Bismarck federal courthouse on Tuesday, rallying in support of in-person town hall meetings.
Organizers delivered letter by hand to the offices of John Hoeven, Kevin Cramer and Julie Fedorchak. The organizers raised concerns about veteran health care, the impact of tariffs on farmers, Medicaid stability, social security and support for Ukraine. Some in attendance referenced President Donald Trump’s executive actions and cuts by the Department of Government Efficiency.
Cramer mentioned Tuesday that he stopped doing in-person town halls during the COVID-19 pandemic and has shifted to virtual events.
