The North Dakota State Bison baseball team lost to Oklahoma State on Tuesday, 9-1. The loss put the Bison record at 4-15 and the Oklahoma State record at 10-8.
Wednesday’s game against Oklahoma State will not be played due to inclement weather.
In Tuesday’s loss, the Bison managed three hits, and Oklahoma State’s Brayden Smith had three RBI and four hits, one of which was a home run and one a double. Smith also scored two runs. The pitching win was given to the Cowboys Mario Pesca, who pitched a scoreless four outs and earned four strikeouts. NDSU starter Garrett Shupe was hit with the loss for allowing six runs in three innings.
The Bison will play a three-game series at Northern Colorado this weekend, starting Friday at 3:00 p.m. CT.
