North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Doug Goehring has announced funding for teachers in grades 2-3 to integrate edamame trail mix kits into their curriculum through the Specialty Crop Block Grant Program.
This initiative, aligned with National Soy Foods Month in April, aims to educate students about soybeans and other specialty crops in North Dakota. Interested teachers can apply online by March 28, 2025, with selected applicants receiving their kits in early April.
The program encourages hands-on STEM learning and emphasizes the agricultural significance of soybeans in the state.
