North Dakota State men’s golf team finishes eighth of 20 teams at Torrey Pines on Tuesday

The North Dakota State men’s golf team finished play at the UC San Diego Invitational at the world-famous golf course Torrey Pines yesterday.

Out of 20 teams, the Bison were ranked eighth after play was completed. The Bison’s Ian Simonich was the top Bison after recording a two over 74 on Tuesday. Simonich notched five birdies on Tuesday. As a team, the Bison finished with a score of +9 in the final round to mark a score of 904 (+40) in total for the tournament.

NDSU golf will have a week off before heading to Estero, Florida to play in the Old Corkscrew Intercollegiate from April 7-8.
