Man sentenced to five years in prison for endangering and terrorizing wife who had cancer

41-year-old Joshua Temple of Grand Forks was sentenced to five years in prison for endangering and terrorizing his wife while she battled cancer.

Legal records state that the prosecution found several pieces of evidence against Joshua Temple, including texts, photographs, diary entries and audio. The wife, Whitney Temple, died at 33 on May 6, 2024. Joshua Temple is required to complete two years of supervised probation after his release from prison.

Joshua Temple must also complete a mental health and domestic violence offender assessment and comply with any recommendations created.
