NDSU women’s basketball season ends with loss to Troy in WNIT

North Dakota State’s women’s basketball team lost its season yesterday when the bison fell to the Troy Trojans at the Scheels Center, 97-88 in the WNIT.

The Bison finished the year with a 21-12 record while Troy is now 23-13 and will play Illinois State in the fabulous four, the round before the championship.

Troy’s Briana Peguero led with 22 points while her teammate Brianna Jackson snatched 14 rebounds. NDSU’s Avery Koenen dropped 23 points to lead the Bison.
