The USDA has released its Prospective Plantings report projecting the amount of corn and soybeans and other commodities that farmers in the United States will be planting this upcoming season.
Per the report, 95.3 Million acres of corn will be planted, and 83.5 million acres will be planted in Soybeans with projections being on the plus side.
Corn is set to raise by 5% in acres planted from last year, and soybeans being down 4% from last years numbers.
Wheat also got a projection of 45.5 million acres, which would be down 2% from last year.
