There is a winter storm warning in effect for the Jamestown area and many other areas in North Dakota. The temperature is right around freezing, triggering the snow to coat the roads and the state.

The snow is expected to slow down in the early afternoon but pick back up towards the evening near 7:00 p.m. Between today and tomorrow, it’s been project that the James River Valley could receive anywhere from six to 12 inches of snow. Looking ahead, there is a chance for snow again on Friday, as well, but the chances sit at 39% as of 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

KSJB will have hourly winter road reports from the early morning until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday to keep you informed.
