Minnesota Wild to play New York Rangers Wednesday night with playoffs coming soon

The Minnesota Wild get a chance to build on a 41-28 record with a 6:00 p.m. game against the New York Rangers tonight in New York.

The Wild are fifth in the Central Division going into the game and hold the second Wild Card spot in the Western Conference. The team lost its first Wild Card spot to the St. Louis Blues, who have stormed into the postseason picture with a 10 game winning streak, the largest active win streak in the NHL.

Minnesota goes into the game with winger Matt Boldy owning a team high 25 goals and 38 assists. Artemi Panarin leads the Rangers with 33 goals.
