The Minnesota Twins will play the Detroit Tigers in Minneapolis this evening at 7:10 p.m.
The Twins were defeated in yesterday’s game against the Kansas City Royals, 3-2, dropping the Twins record to just 4-9 this season. The Twins notched five hits and had two errors. Kansas City’s Michael Wacha pitched 5.1 innings, allowing just two runs with five strikeouts in 88 pitches.
Twins reliever Cole Sands was tagged with the loss for allowing two runs after starter Bailey Ober exited for Minnesota.
