North Dakota State’s men’s golf team wrapped up the Hawkeye Invitational at the Finkbine Golf Course. The team finished 10th of the 13 teams that appeared at the invite.
Ian Simonich led the Bison in the final round, firing a 74 (+2). The leader had two birdies and shot even par on the back nine. The Bison’s Jake Skarperud was the highest placing Bison in the tournament, with a score of +6 overall, marking him in a tie for 27th individually. As a team, NDSU recorded 305 strokes in the final round.
The Bison are back in action in two weeks at the Summit League Championship from April 27-29. The tournament will take place at Longbow Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona.
