Six children had to be rescued in northern Minnesota on Sunday during a duck hunting trip. The six boys were in a boat in Leech Lake near Bemidji when the boat capsized, sending the children into the cold water around 5:30 in the morning. One of the children called 911 and an officer from the Department of Natural Resources was able to locate and rescue the boys using GPS mapping technology. The boys were treated for hypothermia and survived without serious injuries. All were wearing life jackets.
