South Dakota Election results put Trump ahead, lean ‘No’ on two ballot measures

Former president Donald Trump was named the winner of South Dakota, giving him three electoral votes for capturing the state.

South Dakota voted to reelect Republican Dusty Johnson to the House of Representatives. On the ballot measures, Amendment E, which would insert gender-neutral wording into the state constitution, has been voted a ‘No’ by 61.3% of voters. Amendment G, which would create a constitutional right to abortion, has been voted a ‘No’ by 63.2% of voters.
