Election results are in for North Dakota. Former president Donald Trump was declared the winner of the state, with 69% of voters in the state backing the Republican nominee. The neighboring states South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Iowa have also been called for Trump. Vice President Kamala Harris currently holds a lead in Minnesota while Trump is in the lead in Wisconsin.
Kelly Armstrong will be the next Governor of North Dakota, capturing 68.2% of the state’s votes. 99% of votes have been reported. Measure 4, which would repeal property taxes, has been turned down. Over 63% of voters marked ‘No’ on their card. Measure 5 has not yet been called, but 52.5% of voters have said ‘No’ to legalizing recreational marijuana.
South Dakota voted to reelect Republican Dusty Johnson to the House of Representatives. Amendment G, which would create a constitutional right to abortion, has been voted a ‘No’ by 63.4% of voters.
In Minnesota, Democratic candidate Amy Klobuchar is predicted to be the winner by the Associated Press. In the House, seven of the eight races have been called, with four seats given to the Republican Party and three given to the Democratic Party.
