Stutsman County had over 10,248 voters participate in yesterday’s election. 59.42% of eligible voters cast a ballot.
In the nine precincts to report, former President Donald Trump and running mate JD Vance were the popular pick, drawing 70.91% of voters.
In the senate race, Republican Kevin Cramer was elected to the seat with the help of Stutsman County voters, who picked him on 68% of the ballots. In the seat for Congress, Julie Fedorchak earned a spot in the House of Representatives with the assistance of 72.67% of voters in Stutsman County.
Kelly Armstrong was voted Governor of the state, and Stutsman County voters picked Armstrong and Michelle Strinden on 71.9% of the total ballots.
The State Treasurer spot and Insurance Commissioner spots were won by Thomas Beadle and Jon Godfread, who earned nearly 100% of the votes in Stutsman County.
68.83% of voters cast a ballot that marked ‘No in relation to prohibiting all political subdivisions from levying any tax on real property except for bonded indebtedness until paid. Measure 5, which would have legalized recreational marijuana in North Dakota, was rejected by 55.6% of voters in Stutsman County.
