The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USCAE) has announced that it will be waiving day use fees at its recreational areas — including six in North Dakota — in honor of Veterans Day on November 11th. The Corps began the Veterans Day fee waiver in 2006, to honor the men and women who have served in the armed forces. The group also offers fee-free days throughout the year to mark other celebrations, including National Public Lands Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, and Juneteenth National Independence Day.
