We are now over the middle part of the NFL season, and injuries have been the talk for many teams as we start to make the push for the playoffs. Teams made moves to help soften the blow of some key players getting injured, some are still trying to fill the void. Here are some teams dealing with some injuries to their key players entering Week 10.
Kansas City Chiefs:
Patrick Mahomes tweaked his ankle this last Monday night against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Mahomes is believed not to be limited for this upcoming week against the Denver Broncos, but is definitely worth noting going into Week 10.
Dallas Cowboys:
Dak Prescott’s hamstring injury is believed to be worse than originally expected, per sources the hamstring is reportedly off the bone, but Dak has yet to be put on IR.
Cee Dee Lamb was also seen banged up last week against the Atlanta Falcons, the Cowboys believe Lamb is good to go this upcoming week against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Cincinnati Bengals:
The Bengals could be missing two key pieces of their offense this week in a pivotal game for their season on Thursday Night football against the Baltimore Ravens, Wide Receiver Tee Higgins may miss another game with an injured quad that kept him out last week, Higgins also missed a good chunk of the start of the season dealing with a hamstring.
The Bengals lost starting running back Zach Moss to a season ending neck injury, the Bengals did try to soften the blow by trading for Chicago Bears runnings back Khalil Herbert before the trade deadline.
New Orleans Saints:
The Saints are coming off firing their head coach Dennis Allen, and may be missing one of their top playmakers too entering this week against the Atlanta Falcons. Chris Olave left last Sundays game against the Panthers with another concussion, and currently Olave is in the process of seeing specialists about the numerous concussions he has suffered throughout his career.
